i have been in vault 11 now for 4 hour trying to get out . i hit the button for the door as i went in not thinking that i whould lock me in . is there any way to get out???

I just finished this vault. This isn't a software issue btw...

you have to go through and find the overseers room, and open the stairs in the floor (where the overseers go to die). Be prepared. Save before you enter and it will probably take several times to make it through. I hope you're well armed! you have to defeat 6 turrets , 2 sentry bots, and 2 brain bots that all come from behind walls, leaving you completely exposed. It took me about 6 tries to beat it. Then you just go through a door in one of the walls that opened and open the mainframe terminal. You can disable the lockdown from there.
