I'm stuck with vilkas on his dragon seekers mission. It took about 8 different trips to rannveigs fast and eldersblood peak to finally get a dragon and after killing it his quest wouldn't update. I've been stuck with him way too long and he's useless. How can I get rid of him?

There is one way. Tell me, do you own a big blunt or sharp object?

Lol I've beaten him repeatedly he doesn't die just kneels and heals up.

if you have console ,you could skip the quest stage. if not, GL. (actually, do a later part of the quest, and it'll advance the questline for you. it just won't filll in the objectives unless you use PC's console. and leaves a marker until you complete the quest)
