Stupid kids get off my back! i'm thane!

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 12:25 pm

I swear this isnt the first time it has occured to me
everytime i go to dragonsreach even after i became the thane of whiterun i need to talk to the jarl's steward or stuart whatever they are called and i need to either collect my bounty or ask for work or even decorate my home perhaps, and when i go there at night i should be allowed to because i'm the freaking thane!!!
no one has a problem with me, not the bald guy, not the guards, not the kids NO ONE
its only those stupid 3 kids that walk around dragonsreach the jarl's "children" i seriously hate them
they start saying "oh you need to leave now"
and if you dont bloody obey them guess what? THE GUARDS COME AFTER YOU!
jesus christ..just let me do business kids...i aint a mass murderer im just licking your father's boots..

why would i wanna do that? i just wish they could shut up and let me do business
a potent parilysis potion while they're asleep would be good...as a matter of fact isnt there a pickpocketing perk that allows u to inject poison in one's pockets? i've been thinking..

Besides, the title "Thane" isn't really important if you check, the kids have more pull than you I bet. :D

if kids start yelling calling you a freak for sneaking in the hallway next to their rooms at night just to make more money, what kind of situation would any adventurer find himself in? u may have slain dragons, kicked ancient draugrs in the face and eaten frost trolls for lunch but it all comes down to this..when a kid yells for help and he has the guards on his pocket, ur pretty much screwed my friend.

ok so this all makes soo much sense then
i help the jarl fight against the ulfric attack on whiterun
i help the city fight a dragon
i help the people of the city, i become thane
i help merchants on their business, i make use of the inn whenever nessecary even though i have a house to sleep in.
i always seek to help the jarl on the fight against crime for giant hunts or bandit raids
and yet his snobbling little kids who do nothing but eat and sleep all day get the final word and can push me out of the city.

Welcome to the real world my friend. The bosses kids will always be more privileged than you, no matter how high you climb. Hostile takeover is the only option.

At least the in-game kids cant repeatedly run headlong at your groin whilst your trying to hang out the washing, unlike my son, whose head is *precisely* level with that area. :D

Replace Jarl with King, and that's your basic workings of a Monarchy.

Although I remember reading that Thanes have access to restricted areas of the Jarl's holds. Perhaps it's a glitch that they're kicking you out.

Lol, just be glad you don't have the kids from Fable.
you either got their annoying voices following you cheering, or whining and running for 2 seconds then coming back.

That is why we must always support the Empire. Nords are uncivilized and it is in their blood. Even Talos is no better and hence outlawing his worship is absolutely reasonable. If the Nords want a Dovahkiin to worship, they can start by worshiping me or die.

The annoying NPC in Skyrim has driven my character crazy. I now have a kill first think later policy. Any NPC who says something that rubs me wrong, I kill em. If they are marked "essential", I would still attack them and slay whoever dare come to their aid.

I am the Dragonborn and I will rid Skyrim of its evil - which means most of the Nords.

They do that because you are in the Jarl's quarters at night. How would you react if people were invading your privacy at night? And even during the day?

the whispering lady mission for the ebony blade yes
on that mission the jarl's red haired son is pointed as being a dark child he listens to a door in the basemant who basically tells him all that goes wrong with the hold for centuries.
but that kid isnt as bad as like let's say the girl
when i first went to dragonsreach she said this
"are you one of the new maids? remember i like my meat rare"
ASDFGHJKL I SWEAR ILL KILL YOU!

Obviously. The guards should throw you outside of course; they are just too nice. And the children are at home, not you.

then go Join the Forsworn conspiracy o.o
sounds like something for you.

I'm with the Empire too but i'm not gonna start genocide on the Nords, they have the right to worship Talos, they're just a bit dumb on keeping it on the down low. The Imperials still support Talos, they just don't shout it out saying "Hey Thalmor, svck it, we're worshiping Talos."

The Forsworn rub me wrong by forcing me to do something I do not want to do. So, as soon as I was free, I went hunting them.

I kill the Thalmor Executors on sight as well because I do not like their tone of voice.

Imperial Soldier who "warn" me about being too close to them are promptly removed as well.

The only thing I do not kill are Giants and Mammoth who do not attack me when I run up close to them with my weapon drawn =P

i hope this would not happen if u could have the possibility of having children in skyrim and make them live in ur own home and then they would kick u out of it
