I can't believe I didn't check this before, but, if you download new Nvidia drivers it may set your SLI Setting to "Disabled". It happened to me. I'm getting excellent performance now that it's enabled.

Yeah its something you should always check for, also disabling sli before a driver update is a good idea=) along with removing your physx drivers for nvidia cards 8 series or higher.
