Stuttering Issues when in fullscreen with (7970 & i7) : V

So I have a $2k build with an i7 2600k, 7970, SSD.

I dont have any stuttering in windowed mode but windowed mode does not offer my super high resolutions 2600? x (whatever).

Fullscreen has the same amount of stuttering on the lowest and highest settings.
Windowed mode does not have any stuttering, but again does not have the highest possible resolution.

I have tried the http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2581, with no luck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can't really say without that information. Too many variables, really. The usual suspects are graphics drivers, INI edits, and/or forcing something on in the CCC or NCP.

Yea, they have both been installed, restarted and tested.

Windowed is 100% fine, full screen stutter city when using a bow.

After further review the stutter happens with verticle (up and down) moviement not horizontal (left to right).

I am having a similar issue and am using AMD GPU w/ PreviewV12 drivers (see sign for build). I also have a micro-stuttering when looking vertically indoor/outdoor. There is noticable micro-stuttering when traveling in the world, running through the wilderness. I have confirmed that for whatever reason this micro-stuttering only happens in first-person view, it never occurs in 3rd person. The other odd thing is I have confirmed with FRAPS that my FPS barely drops if at all.
I have tested with vsync on/off, various combinations of AA sampling mode, AA samples.

Any clues?

svcks to hear that you have this too.. I have hit up google so many times with no luck. The problem in only in full screen no matter your settings..
You can run the boardless window mod,
Then go into SkyrimPrefs file and manually type in your screen resolution.

The window does not streatch across the entire screen and is quite annoying.

I will probably continue to play in full screen (no boarder mods) and try to not let it bother me too much.

It specifically says on the 2nd page you link to not use it with the 7970, the reason being it doesn't actually support it. There's only 1 driver you can actually use with a 7000 series at the moment.

This issue has and is happening to alot of people. It seems that it is the game engine that is buggy. There are a few potential fixes that may help minimize the stuttering. You could try a framerate limiter. The fix that I use that helped decrease the stuttering was to disable mouse accelleration in the Skyrim.ini file. It didn't get rid of it but it made it playable. Then, well, there's windowed mode which you are already familiar with.

This is a problem people had from day one if i'm not mistaken. I know I had the same problem at first, when there was a tweak that set iPresentInterval=0 instead of 1. When I set it back to 1, the problem went away. It had to do with V-sync being turned off. Try limiting your FPS, like A Red Guy mentioned. Hope it helps you out!

There's always been some stuttering. I find if you really want to see it, just look at the ground and start walking lol.

I think I've managed to at least reduce by setting a CCC profile with: 4xMSAA (you could do more like 8xSSAA but with all my texture mods I need to save VRAM where I can), 16xAF, Vsync enabled and then disabling MSAA and AF in the skyrimprefs.cfg

But yeah, no matter what you have to live with a little stuttering. It's svcky, for sure.
