Suggest a feature for Skyrim and discuss.

I thought It'd be fun to make a thread where we can all discuss our suggestions on the subject of what would be fun to see in Skyrim or future TES titles.

I'll go first.

I'd like to see acrobatics come back into the game in a deeper sense of the definition of acrobatics; A skilled performer of gymnastic feats, as walking on a tightrope or swinging on a traqeze.

Well I don't envision future TES games to include various circus acts I would like to see the skill return to the game in a more maneuver oriented way. Like parkour elements, but more susceptible to errors than common games are. Running on walls, jumping onto a wall and then propelling yourself from the wall. Grappling surfaces, ledges, railings or just something that geometrically is possible to grapple.

I never really liked the whole "higher acrobatic skill=higher jumps" idea and while I think acrobatic skill should increase your jump height it should be maintained within the realm of possibility.

Discuss, and share your ideas.

I'm always for adding things like this to Skyrim, and your ideas for acrobatics sound really fun. It would be nice to be able to climb a city's walls to escape when all the town guards are chasing you too.. :ahhh:

I too would like to see Acrobatics make a return in some way and your idea sounds pretty good to me.

Anyway, my idea is less about fun and more about practicality. I think it would be good if we were given the ability to add our own map markers to the map screen. Now I don't mean like the waypoint marker, actual markers that we could fast travel to. For example, if you find somewhere you like and want to come back to it later you pretty much have to remember where it was, but if you could add a custom marker to the map then you could quickly and easily get back there when ever you wanted. I think it would make things a bit easier for and would probably get used fairly often.

Obviously this is mainly aimed at console users as chances are there is probably already a mod like this for those on the PC version, but yeah that's my idea. Any thoughts?

I want the option to dye your cloths/armor, would make NPCs alittle more unique and allow you to make your gear match better. Not over the top like neon blue armor, but since console gamers like myself don't get the mod creator to do this so Bethesda should atlest add something to make Skyrim feel alittle more fun for the nonPC gamers that only have DLC to alter their games.

I want an Animal-taming skill. These are example of perks/features it could include:

* Animal taming is 20% more successful (base perk)
* Wild animals will not attack you on sight
* The ability to name any tamed animal
* The ability to call your tamed animal from the wilds (which would be a power)
* The ability to give the animal either a (small) armor or a pack (so that it can carry things)
* The ability to mount larger animals
* Being able to tame beasts (like trolls)

The ability to give up on quests, change your characters race/six (I thought being an argonian was cool at first, ffs), some sort of drop in, drop out Co-op in which maybe 1-3 of your friends could play along with you, a divorce feature, a higher difficulty than master, and a huge expansion DLC.

The ability to make armor out of animal hides. I want to make armor similar to stormcloak armor only with a wolf or fox pelt.

I want a return to when TES games weren't so horrifically dumbed down. Skyrim is good, don't get me wrong, but the only thing it has on Morrowind is graphics.

Something focusing on the extinction of the Dwemer. They're such a fascinating race, but such little is known about them.

I thought the point of the dwemer was that they represent the tech you can't have in ES setting
