I suggest a Sympathy for Security Week

Post » Sun Aug 28, 2011 11:51 pm

To start with i mostly play Resistance, if i spawn in a new match as Security i won't switch sides if it creates an unbalance and i do switch to Security if the teams need to be re-balanced, but the default for all my characters but one is Resistance. I prefer the Resistance outfits, gun skins and "political stance" but it is sad that Security has never won. So as much as i like being an Ark Cop Killer (great clan name...dibs called) i'm making a call for a Sympathy for Security Week, i'm really curious if a concentrated effort by the forum members and chatroom players (PS3) could put Security over the edge. I'm willing to suspend my sense of honour for one week to try and give Security a win. Who's with me?

I'd prefer a game that wasn't so set up leaning towards the Resistance side.
Really this is expected with maps like, Founders Tower, Container City, and Shipyard.

I love playing these maps as security, win on them 90% of the time also.

Topic, dunno about that, security had this coming, oppressors

"Sympathy for Security Week"?! It looks like we found the security agent! Push him into the sea!

Security can win games, its just much, MUCH harder for them to do so and for players who want a hardcoe multiplayer challenge shud choose that side I think. Although balanced maps are always better.

If I ever feel sorry for security, I just join their side and play as them for a while.

It's on topic. A good reason why Security doesn't win is that they have the harder set ups. People tend to take the easy way and Security loses due to that.
Sure they can win, but doesn't mean that the odds aren't in their favor just by design on a few maps.

@Coven: Yeah, i'm sure you're using a bit of hyperbole there. But even so, it doesn't mean the maps aren't frustrating for Security. Sometimes playing against the odds is fun, a thrill. But when it's repetitive and in a competitive manner, it's enjoyability begins to die.
