A suggestion for those who are done *everything* in the game

If you like me (have 1130.1 hours, all 50 achievements, explore and done every quest in the game) Here is a suggestion for you... Mod'ing, it let you create a char in a game, tell a story, etc. It is like another quest area for Skyrim that one has not been to it. You might be thinking, I don't know a thing about coding or making a mod! The free Creation Kit is just point and click, and the interface is simple, but yet powerful. Just like any new program, it can be hard to take in all at once, but take step by step, it will start to make logic. Also, there is a lot ofhttp://www.creationkit.com/Main_Page and don't forget about the nice people in the mod forum who will help to answer any questions or at least point you in the right direction to find the answer to your question.

I have seen several topics about people asking what to do in Skyrim now, here is just suggestion to answer your question.

Thanks!

It sounds pretty cool.......give us some more details on what it does.

Mods only work on a PC, but the CK itself can run on lower end machines, but there is a catch, one will need to run skyrim to test out the mods while one making the said mod. Please stay with me, the lower PC does NOT have to run skyrim in all it's glory, just good enough for testing. If one's PC can not run skyrim very well, just use skyrim on PC for testing only while using one's console for playing the game when one isn't working on any mods.

For example, I have two computers -- a desk with a nice graphics card and a laptop with not so nice graphics card, but it can run skyrim barely -- I must set the game down to the lowest setings and run it at 800X600 (it looks like :yuck: )

But I can still run CK and still can use the laptop for testing out mods.

Well, this is very helpful and all, but what of the poor console users?

This is probably gonna make me seem incredibly stupid, but id rather be a fool for five minutes than for a lifetime.
Do you have to own a copy of Skyrim for PC to run and use the CK? My laptop is TERRIBLE (it lags with Morrowind..) so i'm not gonna bother wasting £35.
But can you still model stuff and play around with the modding tools?

Sorry, one must have a PC to do any type of modding...

Yes and No

Yes -- one can make a mod with CK without a copy of skyrim (At least to my know age anyways)
No -- there is no way to beta test the mod without a copy of skyrim
