So basically i have made my cave all done except for one thing.
I dont know how to make a open roof that looks like the outside and add light to it so it looks like that sunlight is getting through the hole made in the cave roof.
I want to do this in the cave green kit.

I need someone to do a tutorial showing how to make a hole in my cave roof and add sunlight through the hole.

I suggest finding a cave piece that either already has a hole in the roof, or make one yourself. Look at vanilla cells to get an idea of what pieces to use. Then, for the sunlight coming in, you could either place an Omni in the center of the hole, closer to the ground, or you could place a Shadow Spotlight outside the hole pointing inward.

a lot of kit pieces already have a built in hole in the ceiling. if you dont want to use any of those you will have to create your own using a 3d editor program.


as for the sunlight. make sure first that your cell has sky enabled, then you want to place an omni light inside the hole.

you should then add sunbeamns manually using MSTT objects such as FXmistbeam or something like that
