Super fast mode...

I haver never played this game without fast traveling and I'm pretty much convinced that this will be the way to keep my interested the whole time because I always tend to start again. Now I would want the opinion of people that have done a playtrough without fast travelling. Is it more fun or not?

Note; I would use carriages but only when it's from the one side to the other side of Skyrim & I can only use the carriage to places I've actually been before.

I'm also thinking of doing as much as possible quests in a city (or surrounding areas) without doing the ones that require you to go and visit another city or get very near it. Only when there's no other option I would travel to the next city and so on and on...

No fast traveling is pretty tedious.

This.

I rarely fast travel but sometimes it's almost necessary. I can't imagine restoring the thieve's guild to glory without it.

Sometimes walking everywhere is a good thing, other times it makes me want to run face first into a car door.

Well I will use the carriage for the thieves guild missions.

One thing I have noticed is that there is way less dragons when not fast traveling. I tend to not be a hoarder so I really have no reason to fast travel. I just go by a cave, barrow, whatever and check it out then head on to my next destination.

I never really thought of this kind of play style, it would be pretty fun if Bethesda would add something like hardcoe mode from new Vegas into skyrim

No fast travel in Skyrim is even more tedious without any form of increasing speed (not counting occasional whirlwind sprint). It wasn't bad at all in Oblivion with a fast character. Especially having 100+ fortified speed and 100+ fortified athletics.... That can make the world feel too small though, but being fast was fun.

I haven't fast-traveled in over 250+ hours. And i don't find it the least bit tedious. Haven't missed it once ...
