Surprised!

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 8:10 pm

I was pretty surprised by the difficulty of this expansion. The vampires are hard as hell to kill. I even put the difficulty down to novice to get past the first dungeon (I usually play on Expert). So far I'm liking everything about it. What are your opinions?

It's designed that way. Tougher.

If you're talking about what I think you are then that's barely a puzzle...

The game is wonderful, breath-taking and also scarry at certain points. I was level 43 the first time and I picked my broken body up off the ground several times. Make alot of saves.

Yea, a puzzle where you have to mash the A button on 3 different pillars. What were they thinking putting something so difficult in the game? :sarcasm:

There are a couple that are "child's play" but some are not. if you want a good puzzle, get the book from a bookshelf in the dawnguard headquarters called aetherium wars.

That books starts in my opinion the best quest in the game.

well I have to wait for a while (probably a few days) before I can find time to play, but it is nice to hear they actually have puzzles in this one, I liked how vanilla started out (with the golden claw puzzle, and associated pillar matching) but they reused the same puzzles so much it took no thought, I take it these ones are a bit more genuine?
