Well, here's the deal, I'm a High-Elf and I have joined the Stormcloaks, but when I joined I was highly doubtful, thinking they're racist and Ulfrics a bit of a [censored] but I thought, "what the heck".

But now I really regret joining the Stormcloaks and I want to fight for the good 'ol Empire, but I can't seem to find a way to do it, am I blind or simply stupid, or is there no way?

And if there is no way in-game, can you mod it or go into the game files and alter it? Anyone have a clue?

Aaaaaah! I was like "Screw that quest now, I'm not going in there with some filthy Stormcloak". I was quite pissed at the time... Cheers dude!

Does it work the other way? I joined the empire & got the above item & gave it to them. If I steal it & give to the stormcloaks, can I change sides? Not sure I want to - just wondering if that works both ways.

It works both ways, but not sure if after you give it to one side or the other. Think you have to do it before you actually turn it in.
