Sweet Disease

What if, the main character could recieve more transforming diseases with perks, similar to Werewolf or Vampiric infection?

Perhaps Atronachs could also pass a virus that gives the main character more perks.
Maybe crazed virus ridden Cave Bears or Foxes.

And along with these new retractable diseases, new visuals should also aid the character.
Say the main character recieves a virus from a Mud Crab, enters into a multi-stage set of symptoms (similar but not kin to Vampirus Sanguines) including an intense development of enlarged forearms, pincers, claws, available for weaponry and armor.
How cool would it be to recieve a beneficiary disease from a Dremora Lord? New Illusion spells, horns developing on the temples of character heads, increased height...the possibilities are limitless.

Any other ideas, regarding Positive Viruses that could be recieved from the fauna that inhabit Skyrim?

does not sound too lore friendly, now some acutally deadly or harmful in any possible way diseases would be nice

Killing effects to the diseases in the game I would think it would be better, I agree with voice of reason it is not lore friendly.

There should be stages in sickness for all diseases maybe some effct skills at first, others your stamina falls maybe magic or some health drain depending on the sickness, then maybe get blurry vision have some diseases paralyze you and have others kill you: then maybe have some just doing detrimental damages to your skills if you do not get cured. I think that might make me remember I actually have a disease and it would make me pay more attention to it.

and while im at it, bring back the plague from daggerfall, and all thsoe good ol' death sentances (you could not get to a town to be healed with a lot of them, if you did not have a potio or spell you were screwed, it was fun)

I wish diseases were more potent, and that they werent easily avoidable altogether with vampire or werewolf.

We would want a cure disease spell, too bad that got cut.

Sorry to be a debbie-downer but looking back at morrowinds uesp, we really got nut-stomped in the spell dept.
