I read in some places that your able to switch teams. But trying to get a better understanding of it. It that only in private matches or during mp are you able to switch teams? Cause if you are wouldnt that just make people on the team thats being bashed switch to the winning team in the middle of match? Really help if somebody could explain it to me.

Maybe, but even if people did switch teams, then a bot would just take their place on the losing team. And that bot could be replaced by a human player at anytime. And I'm guessing that if all the slots are taken by human players, then the option to switch teams will be disabled until and human drops out and a bot takes their place.

No. I am pretty sure you can't. If a player leave his/her place is filled with a bot. But I don't think you can switch.

I'm just hoping the game shuffles the teams after rounds, games die because of to much stacking. It's especially bad with only 16 player games because they don't have as much of a window as 32 player games to lose players.

I'd assume that you can only switch within reason, and you can't all switch to the other team. I assume there is a maximum difference allowed between 2 teams before autobalance [hopefully] kicks in.

I hope i read it wrong, cause being able to switch teams in mid game doesnt make much sense to have that added.

No, it really ticks me off when games decide to auto balance, for instance in left 4 dead I'm playing with friends, then the next match me or a teammate has switched unexpectedly, then one of them either has to leave to switch back or one of them gets kicked, then they cant rejoin.. It's annoying as hell. When I say friends, it doesn't mean we've played together and are a hardcoe team, just means we know each other so it's not pub stomping.

I'd rather have a mild annoyance than keep playing shutouts against a superior team. It's not fun for anyone if the game is ridiculously stacked. Also if 2 people leave on the other team you now have 2 more people. With no auto balance no one will join the other team, and even more people will leave. Games without auto balance and shuffling are terrible.

You're not supposed to leave and switch back, you're supposed to svck it up and play on the other team. I have no sympathy for someone who tries to circumvent a system that was put in place for a reason.

I am pretty sure you can switch in the middle of a fight if there are open spots/bots on the other team.

Well hopefully the fireteam system will help prevent friends from being separated, since if you switch severs after you lose you both join the same one. Who knows maybe that will work with autobalance?
