I was looking through some junk then I found a cd in a case. Turn out it's a game called Syberia. I have never heard nor played it I have no idea why I have it but here what’s interesting. This game has won allot of awards this includes.

GameSpy: Game Of The Year

(Cant Identify the name): Game Of The Year

Pc Gamer: There’s not game of the year but its labelled on there

Readers Choice: Game Of The Year

GameSpot: Game Of The Year.

So Syberia Looks like it is a game an interesting game. Is there anyone who has played this? I'm looking up more information on it but I would like to here a player’s opinion.

EDIT: I just found a second disk for it turn out there two disks for the game.

Excellent adventure game, really beautiful. There is a sequal that you need to get, because it's part 2 of the same story. Point and click game, if you don't know. You'll venture into the world of automatons... Must have!

Do you have the optimised version for recent OS? I don't know if you'll have trouble if it's not.

Saw it on GOG. It looks an amazing piece of art rather than a mere game. I thinks its similar to Dreamfall, of which I think I have played.

It's a puzzle game, with a really nice bitter-sweet mood. I think it aged very well... oh, maybe I'll play it again. It's been a while, I forgot most of the puzzles by now. The story IS amazing. Since you already have it, play it.

Eh. I started playing it, ran into a bug that corrupted my savegame. Didn't feel compelled enough to continue. I didn't feel like there was a strong enough pull (story-wise) for me to keep slogging around pixel-hunting. At least in TLJ you could press a key to have April zoom to wherever you clicked her to move to. With Kate in Syberia, you have to wait as she strolls across each scene. Hurry up lady, I don't have all day!!!

Ugh I know what you mean now. Right now she’s strolling through the streets as I type this. It’s a real [censored] finding some of this stuff. The rain stopped and I’m just running up and down the streets trying to find something to get me through one of those doors.

The puzzles in it look cool once you FIGURE THEM OUT! Then you get the sweet moment to watch them do there thing. I will finish this game, I must.

If you can still find it, I recommend Shiver 2.

I love the game. Syberia, along with Broken Sword, got me into the whole genre.

One of the best adventure games I ever play, along with Grim Fandango and Escape from Monkey Island.

Point n' click, a game for smart people, some of the puzzles are hard sometimes, but the look was amazing for that time (ten years ago) and the history have a ecologic message (You find out in Syberia 2).

It's hard sometimes because the changing cameras (it's the worst aspect of the game for me, I remember) but the game is beautiful and trully amusemant.

Have Fun! :tops:

Syberia got 8,9 (in 10) user score (2 642 votes) in Gamespot http://www.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/syberia/review.html?tag=summary%3Bread-review

Syberia is one of my all time favorite games. Nice puzzles and storyline. Excellent art work too. It's an older game, so not 3d but defintiely worth it. Syberia II as well. It had a really touching storyline.

Very much recommended!
