Take away all of the options for this game...

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 6:41 pm

Just a list of suggestion for the future... Since a lot of people complain about having the OPTION to fast travel and even debating whether or not it's ok to have an OPTION for perk resets (even though it doesn't affect their gameplay, since they have the OPTION to use it or not).

1. Take away commands and mods for PC, 360 and Ps3 users don't get commands and mods, so why is it ok for PC hmm?

2. Take away the option to choose difficulty levels, make the game either Novice or Master permanently.

3. Take away the option to fast travel.

4. Take away multiple saves as well, only allow 1 save file. Then people will really have to live with the decisions THEY made.

5. Why allow people to choose which class they want to be, or which armour or weapon they can equip? Make it random.

6. Take away the option to choose whether we can choose to buy or not buy a DLC. Make DLC's MANDATORY, if the latest DLC is not installed, then that person can't play Skyrim!

-Take away option to switch from First to third person
-Take away option to join guilds. You should be forced to join all the guilds
-Take away option to play game. Force everyone to play it.

Take away dialogue options. No need to choose what your reply will be.
Take away armor choices. Must wear the armor the Dragonborn is advertised in.
Take away weapon choices. You must use an iron sword and steel shield.
Take away ability to customize the character. No distinct characters.

I will add more in the future

Yeah I agree if kiddies are gonna cry about Skyrim just take it all away and see what it's like.

I wouldn't mind PC people losing consol commands (;

I'm detecting a little bit of sarcasm here. If you're trying to get people to stop complaining, give up. People only complain because they can. The best thing to do about that is to move a different country, maybe a dictatorship. Maybe there people will learn not to complain.

Oh yeah all these are great ideas. Literally the worst ideas ever. Not one of them is good and that they are all in one place is crazy. Your serious?

like how this thread really doesn't have much of a point. Why bother posting this, why not instead have responded to the many threads that are arguing over the implementation or removal of features instead of doing this? Seems that would be much more productive.

Dude, quit bit chin. Skyrim is a single-player game in which only you can interact with. The forums are for players to share info and talk. Of course there's gonna be a few trolls, but if the only thing you think about when visiting these forums are the negatives, then I pity you.

Oblivion compass defenders: Use quest markers or not -- it's up to you! Options! Freedom, choice!

Oh, would you look at that -- no more directions or descriptors from quest givers anymore.

No need for race options. It should only be Imperials.

I don't support resetting perks because even though it's not a feature I personally will use, I just can't stand the fact that other people will be choosing to use it. The literal thought of other people playing the game in a way I deem inappropriate makes me sick to my stomach.

Bethesda, if you ever implement this totally optional feature I will boycott your products, stop dumbing down your games with optional features. People should reroll so they spend more time playing the game like I want them to. Things are better when they're harder bethesda, by making your game more difficult I myself feel more superior to those silly CoD simpletons.

Also Morrowind was better.

Take away options from a franchise that boasts freedom, and being able to do whatever you want?

Ok...

Hey! While we're at it, let's take the game back to it's roots and remove the option to play it on the other platforms.
