People are mentioning burnout on another thread so I think this deserves a bump.
I've found I can play Skyrim on-and-off every few hours for about a day before I have to take a break, leave it and rejoin RL. Go do other stuff. Clean your house. Walk the dogs. Hang out with friends. Study. Etc. Etc.
Go away. It makes the experience fresh again.
This last play session, I've enjoyed the scenery a lot more (heck, I even made my character walk everywhere just because I'd forgotten how pretty everything was), completed a few quests, talked to a few NPCs, bought a house, organised my loot ... It's been a pretty entertaining day.
Now I'm putting it away until I forget what it's like again.
