Im level 46 and over the past couple of days the game has been freezing when I open up my inventory and if it finally lets me look at my items it takes a very long time to move from item to item also similar things happen when i try to search a chest or a dead body any ideas?

Might be obvious but have you changed your carry weight to something very high in console and packed out?

No I have a companion and i give most of the stuff i pick up to him

Try dumping his inventory in a chest you own. It happens to me after a few hours but a restart always fixes it.

People could probably give you better feedback if they knew what system you're on.

I just tried to clear his inventory to put in a chest but with how long it takes just to take one item from him it will take me countless hours to take everything from him any other suggestions?
