Taking the oath : V

Silly question but....

If I take the oath to be a Stormcloak, can I still join the other side at a later date?

(Just wanting to do as many quests as possible).

Your last chance to switch sides is the jagged crown quest. If you don't like the stormcloaks take it to general tullius and he'll let you join imperials.

That is your last chance though, whoever you give the crown to cements your membership in that faction
