Has anyone else talked to falk firebeard and got the dialog option to become Jarl elisifs bodyguard becuase shes afraid of assassins?

I get the diolog option "Whats wrong with the jarl?"

falk says shes locked in her room afraid of assassins

then i get to offer to be her bodyguard and he says lets go talk to her then nothing happens

Hm, odd. I was just in the middle of becoming Thane last night. Is it AFTER you've done all you need for her? Like killing Potema, and becoming Thane, and buying the house?

Well i just talked to her and Falk as my Imperial Thane and everything is the same as it was so...idk what you are doing differently

on a side note i did Just complete the dark brotherhood but falk talks as if it was the start of a quest

I think you've somehow activated part of the cut Boethiah quest to assassinate Elisif. That's where the dialogue came into it.

Nothing happens after i talk to falk he just stands there and i only got the dialog after the recent patch so maybe its releated to dawnguard.

well on a hunch i completed boethiahs actual quest now the dialog is gone so problem solved i guess

could be cool if they added it with dawnguard, what with all the talk about dawnguard add stuff to the whole world, not just the danwguard plot

It's because of my Dunmer Assassin... I'm not really sorry about it either.

sadly and unfortunately, i think hes lying. OR hes encountered a giant but super rare glitch that activates the quest!

@mano im not lying i think its a glitch because of the latest patch can anyone else confirm it on the 360? it only woks if you havent completed boethiahs quest and it doesnt acivate the quest he just stands there like an idiot.
