I just read http://games.ign.com/articles/122/1222591p1.html that says that Jack Tramiel, founder of Commodore, has passed away. When I saw his last name I immeadiately noticed it was very close to Tamriel. And so I have to ask, was Tamriel named after this influential and historical figure in gaming? I don't know if anyone here would know the answer to this question, but I'm posting it all the same
