I like to know how you aim when using ranged weapon. There isn't crosshair like shooter games so I really don't have a clue how I can hit with bow/crossbow.
Melee isn't so hard I just run near as possible and start hack&slash. =P
Crosshair would be nice in this game I think. =(

So any hints/tips how I can hit enemies near and far with ranged weapons please.

(EDIT) I play with PS3 Split screen ! If this matters anything.

I too play on PS3. If I press the L2 button the character goes into an aiming mode. It will auto-lock onto the enemy your most pointing at. It doesn't have a crosshair like a weapon scope but a bracket (for lack of a better term). This bracket changes from yellow to red when I'm on target. The only problem I have is that it doesn't stay locked onto the target so hitting a moving enemy is tough, as it should be I suppose. Hope this helps... Good Luck, Stepp

(EDIT) Heh it was told in singleplayer mode. I started to play it coop/splitscreen with my wife so there wasn't any learning the basics thing before the village. It's quite fun. =)
