Hi!

I wanted to get a tattoo, and I already have an idea ready, but I'm not sure about the design yet.
So my question is if maybe you could try to design something. If you make something I really like, and get as a tattoo, I'll give you any steam game up to about 10,- euro's (can be a bit higher, as a lot of steam games are 12,99 and so on).

So, the main stuff I'm interested in:

I'd like it in black and quite simple, but maybe with some extra stuff you'd expect on such a stamp (perhaps copyright stuff or something).

Is there a reason for the tattoo or you just like it?

I have nothing against tattoos but I'm one of those people who think if your going to alter your body it should be important to you and well thought out.

Not that you haven't but just curious.

Remember you'll always have this stamp and people will ask you about it all the time, or just stare at you but hey if thats what you want the tattoo that's your choice.

When I have enough money i plan to get a tattoo of something to represent me or what i believe in, maybe something about duality or whatnot.

Well it's something I really stand for, as a student of biology the theory of evolution is one of the most important explanations of all time, if not the most important explanation.
And am very much for teaching this theory (in science class) as opposed to some other 'theories', which I'm not going to discuss here, as that is not allowed.

But indeed, it's something that will be with me forever, that's why it's going to be on my upper back, not visible to everyone.

I could use the prize, so let me see what I can cook up.

Hey evolution is important to...well our very lives considering life is always changing and trying to find equilibrium. As long as you feel strongly or it, then good for you.

I remember our Biology class had a T-Shirt that had a life gaurd like shirt that said: Hey! Get out of the gene pool!

Think over these, as well as all possible options. I too recommend you try visiting a real tattoo artist though. Would definitely be more professional. If however you liked one of mine, just say so and I'll remake it, more carefully and bigger the next time so you could actually use it.

I really like the second and the third. Could you perhaps make those bigger?
Could you make some variants where there's a border around the text?

EDIT: could you perhaps try a preview where instead of EST 1989 it says copyright 1989 or something like that? I tend to link est. with companies and such, not so much people or "made" products.

I shall get to work on the second and third. About the borders, I'm really not sure, but I'll see what I can do. It is doubtful though. I'll also change the Est. to Copyright, but that would make the lower level of the design pretty small in order to fit under the "Product Of Evolution" text. We'll see how it turns out. Shouldn't take too long.

Edit: I think I found a way to work in a border. Would you like it around the entire design, or just the "Product Of Evolution"? Or should I make both so you can decide?

Indeed, with the whole word 'copyright' it would be to big, but the symbol only should fit I think?

Knowing I may come across as whiny : perhaps Netherlands could be changed in Holland, as it's supposed to be The Netherlands, but that wouldn't fit.

Any specific game you're looking for?

Would you prefer it to be Netherlands or Holland? Because either could work, really.

Edit: As for the game, I hadn't really thought about it. I was thinking of getting Garry's Mod though. I must insist that you be completely sure you like my design first though, otherwise it would feel wrong.

If you even see the tiniest flaw, please point it out.

And I think Holland would be better, it fits and I think it may sound better than Netherlands without the "the".
And ofcourse I'll think thoroughly about it, 'cause it will be there forever ofcourse

"The Netherlands" would fit in as well. The only tricky bit is the border, but I think I've found a way to handle it, so don't worry about any limitations.

Edit: Yup, border problem is solved. I'll upload one of them in a bit. Let me know if you like this border, as well as if you would like it to be tighter or looser around the text.

I decided to write out "Copyright" since it could fit, but I could just as easily use the symbol if you desire.

With the border I think the fatter letters are a better fit.
Can you make the border a bit less stamp-like, more in line with the letters?

I wasn't really sure what you meant, so I thought you wanted something thinner. If that isn't the case, I could also go back to the old border and simply fill out those tiny bits that are missing to make it look like a complete border.

As for now, it seems you've logged out, and considering that it's about 3AM here and I have school tomorrow, I best do the same.

Looking good! I was thinking of something with more rounded edges,like the one you first had but filled like you said, but I actually really like the design you just posted.
It simply looks right like it is now. If you could make just one more, but then with rounded edges, and a bit thicker (http://www.koolmoves.com/tutorials/phg/rounded_corners/exampler.gif), then I think I have everything I need.
I'll just need to decide between those two.

There are a few gaps left here and there, but I thought it might give it a cooler look. I could always just make it a rectangle with round edges though. However if you show that to a tattoo artist and explain that you want it to be a regular line, he'd get it.
