Neither, as both taste terrible to me.

I drink coffee to help myself wake up in the early morning, I drink tea whenever I want to relax. I'd rather feel relaxed then alert, plus I just prefer the taste of tea. I mean don't get me wrong, coffee done well can taste amazing, but the majority of coffee tastes like crap.

Tea. Preferably hot. I like it both black and green, and even the in between oolong. The various "breakfast" teas I like black, I use cream or milk in varieties such as Chai or Earl Grey and if I sweeten at all I will use honey and usually in Darjeeling or Green tea.

I can't stand coffee. I unconsciously hold my breath when going down the coffee aisle at the grocery store because of the smell.

I'm surprised to see how many people like tea compared to coffee.

Theres something about tea that's just too fruity or herbal. You don't get that from coffee.

Tea. it is healthier for you, and it has enough caffeine in it to not kill you.

It's tea, for me, unless the coffee is in the form of a frappe.

I really enjoy the taste of coffee, especially with two tea spoons of sugar and some cream, however black or black with sugar is nice as well. Interestingly, as I do enjoy an 'alertness' boost in mornings where I lack such, I can't seem to handle the caffeine in due regard to my anxiety, and I now wholeheartedly enjoy decaffeinated coffee.

As for tea, it was also quiet delicious, and the variety is wonderful (in comparison to coffee, I find the variety more distinct for tea, and more subtle for coffee).

However, when I think of tea, I think of it as a healthy drink, and coffee more as a treat, even though I am aware of some health benefits.

I'm a Barista so I enjoy coffee and being around it, but tea is just so good and hot tea is my beverage of choice when i'm sick. :)

Coffee make me get diarrhea

Hmm, I was just discussing its laxative properties earlier today, curiously enough. I think my topics of conversation could do with improving, though.

I have a cup of coffee in the morning and a cup or two of earl grey at night. I prefer tea though, it tastes nicer.

I live in the South so tea is an everyday thing :P

Of course I also like coffee, so I put both equally, but I drink more tea than coffee.

I need tea, it is in my blood. (Black, like English Breakfast, with a bit of milk)
Coffee is more of a treat for me.

Tea, but I don't drink it very often. Don't want to get carried away. I find it good for curing headaches.

But I drink it black (well, piss-brown) without sugar or milk, the way tea is supposed to be drunk. I'm not a baby drinking warm, sugary milk. My parents think I'm mad.

Coffee. None of that flavored [censored] either. In the summer, it's one cup a day, but in the winter it can go as high as four. Don't get me wrong, I love tea, but it just doesn't satisfy me like coffee does in the morning.

I've always wondered what happens to the coffee addicts when civilisation collapses.

Both. Though to be clear: tea = black stuff made with boiling water with milk and sugar in it

You're so veddy British.

I drink a good sized mug of coffee every morning (very strong drip brewed with about 2 parts coffee to 1 part heated milk). I guess that's American style café au lait. As far as tea goes I rarely drink hot tea. For me its iced tea with lemon and a couple teaspoons of sugar. Great on a hot day.

Coffee. Bah, how could I work early in the morning without that help?

I drive to “Tim Horton’s” and get myself a "Double, Double" I love my Timmy's Coffee, the early employees know the sound of my tired voice.

I love tea of all sorts

  • sencha
  • Korean bori-cha
  • Argentinean yerba mate
  • masala chai with boiled milk so there is a little skin from the milk on top
  • jasmine blossom tea
  • sadaf loose leaf black tea (I think it is Earl Grey)
  • hoji-cha
  • kuki-cha
  • genmai-cha
  • morrocan mint tea
  • iced black oolong tea
  • ssanghwa-cha
  • yulmu-cha

Unfortunately, I haven't been drinking as much tea recently. I got a Jura-Cappresso machine last year and I've become terribly addicted to espresso drinks. Since all you have to do is press a button, I probably end up drinking about four or five cappuccinos per day.
