3D technology (MUST READ!)

Post » Mon Aug 15, 2011 6:55 am

ok im glad to say today i played for the first time in Full Active Maxed out 3D vision games, and i must say it is JAW DROPING!

my friend invested allot of money to get the ultimate gaming experiance just for SKYRIM, he bought everything because of skyrim, Geforce 570GTX, LG Full HD 3D vision, Nivida Active 3D vision glasses, all cost him something like 800-900$ (he already have Core i7)

anyway he maxed the sheeze out of any game in Full active 3D,

now listen i was pretty sure 3D was just a gemmick and "not that good", but i must say it is the most amazing thing i ever seen it brings the game to life, every plant every rock have depth like a real object you can circle a plant and it is a round object like in real life, it is just amazing, every arrow that shoots at you looks like it really going to hit you!. now just imagine skyrim in full 3D

i played AVATAR and Battlefield bad company 2 in full 3D, i recommand it to everyone that thinking about buying it for skyrim, i got no words on how beautiful it looks! now im sure 3D is the future of gaming.

YOU GOT TO SEE IT TO BELIVE IT PERIOD.

(btw it aint nothing like 3D in movies i have seen avatar the movie in 3D and some other stuff, gaming 3D is much more amazing then movies,)

Well... This really wasn't a MUST READ!

3D gives me a headache, and it reminds of a pop-up book. You can see "layers" of images.

MUST READ?
I Think not, Also it doesn't really have much to do with Skyrim, more of you telling us how much you love 3d.

Gives me a headache, causes eyestrain, doesn't really add anything to the actual content of a game (or movie)

I don't like 3D media

No thanks, I already wear glasses for my eyesight. I don't want to have to put another pair over them... it doesn't work too well.

In the foreseeable future, nope. Eventually, once the tech gets cheaper and better, sure.

3D is a gimmick. It was a gimmick 60 years ago, 30 years ago and now. Cinemas resort to 3D, whenever they perceive a threat to their revenues. Home television 60 years ago, VCR 30 years ago and now games, but instead of taking the crown from them, games take the gimmick...very sad...

I'll be getting into 3D gaming as soon as I find a monitor that suits my input needs. Requiring at LEAST 2 HDMI ports and a DVI port (computers can use DVI for 3D right?) on a 24ish" screen makes it tough to really find a good monitor. I'm just really surprised no one has made a glasses-less 3D monitor yet.

Edit: Well, I found one. For $700 USD that is. :(

3D is the lamest gimmick ever. I'm so tired of all these crappy 3d movies, please don't start with the crappy 3d games.
