Temple of Dibella - Inner Sanctum

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:43 pm

So, I may have accidentally killed the 3 chicks in the Inner Sanctum. Well, they attacked me and I accidentally defended myself - did I screw up any future quests?

Did I kill a potential wife or sixual partner? They seemed kinda' $lutty and I don't like killing $luts.

You just lost the opportunity to get the "Agent of Dibella" ability, and killed the master trainer of enchant and several marriage candidates. Tough break.

NP, I saved before I killed them - thanks, I'll revert to a previous save.

You killed off potential wives that will never actually leave the sanctum and move in with you... In reality it should still be possible to do the quest for the Temple of Dibella as long as you didn't kill their leader though, however I'm not sure as I didn't kill them I just reloaded and assassinated the wench that attacked me and reloaded one more time to make sure I didn't kill any of them...

I'm pretty sure I killed their leader - the "Mother"? - she's the one who attacked me first. Shouted something about kill the phallu$, I think.

I've already reloaded at a point after I picked the lock to the Inner Sanctum, but before I killed them, and continued.

Don't worry none of the marriage prospects in there are worth it as they all fail to actually move in with you anyway... The Agent of Dibella ability though is pretty good...

That's basically what we did, right? We went in there and harrassed the chicks and tried to...I guess...get them to F us?

I haven't spent much time in Markarth because it's like Riften and you'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy so I'm cautious, but I think the nasty beggar mentions how the chicks in the Temple don't let men in so he's bitter towards them.

I've read a little (didn't want to read too much because I like to be surprised by some things :P ), but don't know the full details so is there a point to marriage other than the daily cash if your spouse owns a business? Can we have six with them? I know it's not a graphic hentai scene, but, in Fable and GTA IV, for instance, the characters said some funny things when the screen went black.

Slight Spoiler:

I encountered sort of a glitch when doing the Diabella statue quest.. I snuck in and turned on invisibility, and the lady started talking to me even though she couldn't see me. After the dialog was over, she completely forgot that I was even there and let me steal the statue without any hassle.. lol

I got Senna in the previous roomto move in with me.
I just had to talk to her before she left the room during the ceremony.. basically start moving soon as given the option. If you wait till the Mara guy finishes talking, she'll be gone.
Did take me a couple tries sadly, cause I didn't know I couldn't wait.

Slight Spoiler:
...
The Inner Sanctum is kinda' weird. I was messing around in there from another quest (I picked the lock and just went down there.) when I wasn't supposed to be in there. I got a dialogue from one of the chicks who warned me that the "Mother" was gonna deal with me then after a brief conversation the Mother and the rest attacked me. I'm guessing that was supposed to happen, but after completing another quest for them I'm a "good friend". Crazy, fickle, btiches - so realistic. :nono:

Yeah, that's apparently a bug/exploit - I may try it if I end up marrying her, but I'm leaning towards Sylgja.

I can also verify that Senna will indeed move in with you if you speak with her before leaving the wedding ceremony. Others have reported that she will not provide "lovers comfort", and only provide the "well rested" bonus. You need to move to her place first (for at least 24hrs) before moving her to your home in order to receive lovers comfort with her. My redguard has moved her from Breezehome to Solitude, and they now live in Markarth. She is a good wife. Also the Dibella girls are useful allies as others have mentioned.
At higher levels, the inner sanctum has lots of rare books, ingredients, potions and extremely valuable jewelry lying around that you can take when you are on good terms with them. My redguard is a proud and devout Dibellan:

- Agent of Dibella
- Married to Senna
- Has 3 statues of Dibella in his Markarth bedroom where he can worship both Senna and Dibella appropriately.

Well, being a villain I don't trust other villains. Actually, I'm kinda' being noble on my 1st character.

Yeah, Lover's Comfort: 15% bonus to all skill improvements. ...but, alas, I'm a werewolf so I get the I'm Not Responsible for my Beast Rage so I'm not Guilty of Murder perk.

I went on a "small" sneak+fury spree =P. So I saved then went down there to sneak in and listen to them , you know , see if I missed much. Decided to cast the aoe fury spell ( forgot the name) and she totally owned all the other girls and when it was just her left I was able to just hang out , take the quest , and just generally rearrange things at will.
