Would anyone be interested in starting up a Terra Nova rp? I got the idea because the show is going to have it's season finale in 2 weeks and I want something to hold me over and hopefully something that will last. If you don't know what Terra Nova is don't fret because you won't be excluded. Anyways, I want to create this offsite so it's exclusive to Terra Nova, maybe use some sort of free forum website? I'm not sure yet, but I think it would be a great idea. I don't know if I want to stay canon to the story, That way events that take place in the TV show will affect the RP colony, or if I just want to do it alternate universe style where everyone makes their own character and no one plays as the main. Also, I could do it shadow government style and by that I meant, you play as your own character and the main characters are NPCS. That way whatever happens in the TV show still affects the colony but everyone gets to play as their own character. If I can get enough interest in this I might think about creating a Sixers base too, that way you can choose your own side.

For those who don't know anything about Terra Nova, here's the basic plot of Terra Nova from wikipedia;

"The show begins in the year 2149, a time when all life on planet Earth is threatened with extinction due to dwindling worldwide air quality and overpopulation. It has become virtually impossible for humanity to survive, and almost no vegetation exists. Please consider this idea as I think it would make for such a great RP and an awesome way to build up our own legacy and community that spans the reaches of even the TV series.

I actually had designed part of a video game similair to this before Terra Nova had even come out or been heard of. It was only in the story developement stage and did nto involve dinoasuars persay but it was very interesting. Would you be interested in using it or just terra nova?

Well, I kinda like the idea of having a Terra Nova RP that follows the story of the TV show. For instance, whatever happens in the show affects the RP colony, and the characters from the show will be in the RP but they won't be played by anyone except maybe the moderators but only to give orders. For example, let's say you're a security officer of the colony. Commander Taylor would give you your orders but no one would directly play as him, that way we can have something unique but that still holds true to the vanilla story of Terra Nova. I'm not sure what forum site would be best for this RP, all I know of are invisionfree, zetaboards, proboards, and freewebs.
