Hi I am new to the forums and I wasnt really sure were to put this so sorry if I put this in the wrong subforum. I am really enjoying the game except for the part where the A.I that is placed on your team is terrible but the A.I that you have to go against is great. I am hoping that this gets fixed because it makes things harder on the player. It makes it seem like one guy is going against an entire team of 10 or 15.

Seems to be the general opinion of everyone playing it. Totally horrible AI the best thing about Brink is that it helped me to kind of travel back in time to a place where games had horrible AI like Counter Strike or Perfect Dark...but at least the AI in those two games was at least competent sometimes...Brink's AI is just pitiful.

They said that they made great A.I for the game but apparently they only applied it to the bots you play against not the ones you play with. I mean really, they go after the command posts like crazy when you really need to go after the main objective. It just ends up really frustrating me.

Vice versa it would be a bigger Problem imo! But you are right, bots will be bots, Can′t wait for the PSN :brokencomputer:

I just played my first couple of co-op matches online and it was freaking great. I didn't have to worry about bots dragging me down and the mission was a cinch.

None of my friends have it yet either so it was with randoms but it worked out pretty well.

Its reasons like these that it is important 2 have BETA's and Demo's for games so the Developer can know what they need to fix. Gladly I myself didnt purchase the game I only rented it and boy am I glad i did, cuz if I straight bought it I would be punching myself in the head. The idea of the game was great but the finished product is IMO a total failure just because the give you missions or challenges that rely on teamwork and it is something the AI on your team cant seem to do. YES the graphics issues are disappointing but not as much as the A.S. (the S stand for stupidity,not gonna say A.I. cuz the bots in this game have no intelligence what so ever) this is one game i will not recommend to my friends and all of my friends that have bought it i feel bad for cuz they said exactly what i just stated.

I totally agree on that, 2 friends of mine and I tried to play coop against bots (8on8) so our team was filled up with 5 more bots, but the ones among our team didn't do anything usefull, neiter place the bomb escort the hostage or not even resupllieng us with ammo or health supply... while the OPFOR Bots worked perfectly as a team.
That's kind a wiered, usually bots always svck or are allways great but usually that depends on the whole game, not the team they are on.... so what is that?

Yeah and i noticed that the other teams bots take way more damage than they should.
