To explain what i'm talking about i attached this sketched over ,top down map view of how this would work on container city, its pretty straight forward really but i think this would appeal to the other playertypes who were asking for tdm, ctf ,etc without being based on counting kills and could also work great as a competition mode ....either way, SD could easily implement this into existing maps that are'nt split into two sections , this could also fit into the context of the story both of these factions are stuck on the ark fighting for resources and controling certain areas of the ark.
i think this would help bring in more players, expand the community and extend the games replayability.

TERRITORY CONTROL / RESOURCE WARS

3-5 control points would be placed on the map .(like conquest in bfbc2 )
secondary objectives still work the same as regular play as far as repairing /destroying alternate pathways /capping command posts etc...
OBJ- #1 -Both teams try to gain territorial control over all 3 (or more) points on the map,
territory control areas are taken by proximity or a hack/fix feature. control over areas fills up a bar for each team ,
after the bar is filled by either team or time runs out the team with the most territory control will have the 2nd objective triggered.
OBJ- #2 -Whichever team has dominated the territory control areas will be given the 2nd objective ,
the attacking teams objective is to blow the defensive gate for the opposing teams spawn area , after the gate is destroyed the 3rd objective will be triggered.
OBJ- #3 -The team which is attacking must return the next set of objectives to there home spawn area. return objectives can vary from data, fuel return to an escort return mission.
