No Text on Books

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 3:17 am

I am up to lvl 14, and have a brand new problem; In the last two days, text no longer appears on book pages!

Is anyone else having this problem?

There are several other threads about this same issue...search this board for Blank Books and you'll have several different threads with several different potential causes and fixes.

Are you running any Mods?
Are you running any overlays such as Xfire or Afterburner or even the Steam overlay?
Does this occur in a brand new game?

Thanks, that was the first thing I tried, but it brought up too many responses.
I was running a teamspeak mod, but I removed that.
It's not a brand new game, Im up to lvl 14, and the problem just started.
Ill try a search for "Blank Books" now.

Thank you for replying. :)

Ive tried the local game cache repair and defrag but that didnt do it. :(

the answer to this problems, and many others, is to check your game file's integrity and defrag the game cache using the steam interface; command path; steam>library>skyrim>properties>local files>check game file integrity.
