Texture Detail Pop in? Very glitchy feeling...

Notice on the fort wall behind the spider as my character moves about a meter closer from the first frame, some details pop in onto the wall.

It is REALLY weird when this happens, because the detail pops in when I am so close to the wall (or any other effected object), when I have all the settings maxed out...

I am running an AMD Phenom X4 965 3.4GHZ quad core processor and an AMD Raedon HD 6850

Any help on remidying this would be appreciated.

i am having the same problem..a fix would be nice..is there any1 out there that knows how to solve this problem :)

If so it's just the way Beth stream extra detail to textures, like the moss on the bricks in my vid. It doesn't look good though, so maybe we will see a fix one day.

Pretty sure it's because the moss detail is a decal effect not in with the texture. I'm not sure if there is any LOD setting that might help.
