This annoys the heck out of me, textures simply lose detail, at any moment, sometimes, they get bad enough to look like blobs of colour. Especially noticeable on faces & outfits, very blocky/low quality sometimes. Reinstalling game & patches doesn't help.
Is this a bug, or maybe something to improve performance? If so IT DOESN'T, runs at about 25-10 FPS everywhere.

Also, the character creator suffers from this, too, sometimes the faces will look like a half melted wax figure, or lose eye colour (nords default light blue eyes look black)

Is anyone else seeing stuff like this?
