Hell, I would be okay with the introduction of atom bombs into TES games if it meant I could destroy the Thalmor with one.

Death to the Thalmor!!!! But in all seriousness, I have a question:

I never played Daggerfell, but I was roaming the wiki I discovered a thing called the Numidium (I can't remember how it was spelled) and read that it was used by Tiber Septim himself to defeat the Aldmeri Dominion and conquer Tamriel. I was just wondering, how badly destroyed was it? The thing is that it says only someone of Tiber's bloodline could use, but it also said that someone of a divine affinity akin to Tiber Septim could use it. Now, I haven't full knowledge of the situation, but couldn't it be used? I think that it could be used against the Thalmor to help rebuild the Empire.

If any hardcoe fans wish to laugh in my face because it would be impossible, please don't, just tell my it would be impossible.

I'd love to have Thalmore DLC.

If we can murder with glee as a member of the Dark Brotherhood, I don't see why we can't join the Thalmore, or at least work for them.

Oh wait...kill the Thalmore?

Hah!

I'd rather join them. :gun:

Long live the Thalmor! You're all just jealous of their obvious superiority.

It was destroyed in Daggerfall.

The Second Numidium was destroyed by Nerevarine

Honestly, I don't know if they can fit the Thalmor into DLC. They've been gearing them up throughout Skyrim as the enemy, it seems to me they'll most likely be the antagonists in the next game, probably set in Summerset Isles or some othet Dominion territory. You thought dungeons of Draugr were bad? Now you're diving through hundreds of Thalmor!

I understand, but can't i be rebuilt? A plot for it that I thought of is maybe no living person could rebuild it, but maybe those who built it can, opening it up for the return of the Dwemer.

It's just an idea, I highly don't Bethesda would even see this post.

Biggest reason I doubt this is true is because:
1. ES hasn't really built up the sequel in the previous game.
2. The length of time between ES releases is too large, both in terms of ingame time (200 years) and RL time (5 years).
3. I think they want to have episodic content with DLCs that finishes the existing storyline. Even if it's undeniable that Skyrim is a full game on its own, there are loose strings with the Thalmor.

Meh that feels like milking it too much. We've already had two of the buggers...

The Dragonborne you play might not be the only one in existance. Either way he's only a mortal and can be killed just as anyone else can be.
The Thalmor aren't something going away overnight. I can see them being used in the next TES game, but for now they are too entrenched and powerful for one man / woman to take them down.

Morrowind to Oblivion was only a few years apart in the world of Tamriel.

For anyone invested in the TES series since Morrowind, it's clear they're not planning Thalmor as DLC, but rather as the next game. You can tell in their games, that when they start building up a political issue so you can see it play out on the side during a game, you can bet your ass it will be what the next game is about.

Yeah. As said earlier, Morrowind and Oblivion are only a few years apart. And I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, haven't played Daggerfall in years) that the previous few ES games also occured during Uriel VII's rule, the same emperor at the start of Oblivion. So the games, aside from Skyrim, truly are not that far apart timeline-wise.

Well, if you think about it, after the Dragonborn entered Skyrim teh war ended. And whether you joined the Empire, the Stormcloaks, or took the neutral option, you'll have an army by your side. If you try to pull the Empire already lost once card, then you don't realize the fact that the Great War would have gone a lot differently if the Dragonborn joined the Empire.

And yes about your second point, but if I remember right the first 4 games took place in a 10-20 year timeline. What I know for sure is that they all took place during Uriel Septim the VII's rule

Hell I'd be happy with some npc's that paid me money for the heads of thalmor justicars or something. :D

And yeah Arena took place in 3E 399 in Oblivion ends in 3E 433. Then for Skyrim it jumped to 4E 201, roughly 200 years

Suggesting DLC is kind of pointless. I'm sure Bethesda has already planned and started work on whatever DLC they're going to release.
