Im at the place in the Main quest where you gotta snoop around the place and Im level twenty somthing warrior with Orcish armour at Exqusite same with my sword (ELVEN MAKE) and I have a moderate amount of Health/stamina potions should I go in seal team six style or black ops style whada you think?

Heh, as long as you kill as many of those Thalmor as possible.

If you go in guns a blazin, be sure to hire a couple mercs to go with ya. There's one in the Riften tavern that I know of and few more at other taverns I'm sure. No idea if you can hire more than one though. I tend to be the silent, stealthy assassin type, but that's how my character is built so I don't need backup.

My character is a heavy-armour spellsword, so my attempt at sneaking failed spectacularly fast beyond assassinating one Thalmor soldier.

Either way is viable really. The all-combat route I took wasn't particularly difficult.

Just kill everything in there was pretty much more easy even with my quasi-pure mage

I really dont like the elves so I just cut them down like a brutal savage.

My stealth attempt utterly failed. It was a bloodbath. Lots of fun.

I tried to go stealthy but getting through a room with three people in it was too difficult so I drew my sword and killed every thalmor I could get my hands on.

Yeah, [censored] stealth. I went in killing every Thalmor in sight, then FUS RO DAH-ed all the furnishings to the floor. Just to annoy the cleaners.

I'm a Nord, and I have had great success sneaking, just make sure you're wearing light armor (Dark Brotherhood armors give great sneak bonuses) and a high sneak level helps.

As for the Embassy, it was on and off sneaking, sneak for the first couple kills and then massacre the rest.

Same here. tried stealth but it didn't end well... for the Thalmor that is...
