Thank you, Adam.

As you might have heard, one of bethesda's concept artists, Adam Adamovicz, has died of cancer last week. He was 44 years old.
For anyone who didn't hear about it yet, go to www.bethblog.com.

I just wanted to say my last thanks to Adam, for his work on Skyrim and Fallout 3.

Thank you, Adam,
R.I.P.

Not sure if you noticed there is another thread about this :

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1348190-rip-adam-adamowicz/

Its kinda sad that people will make threads that go 11 pages about Skyrim being @^@^Y& , having bad gameplay, stats being removed etc and it being dumbed down, but you make a thread about a big part of Bethesda leaving this world and 2 pages tops is the result! Human nature eh? More people need to go to http://www.elderscrolls.com/ and learn about the person that was the inspirational artist and man that was Adam.

I posted in the other thread, but I will reitterate that Adam will be sorely missed as a person and as a truly talented artist, FO3 and Skyrim simply wouldn't be the same without his fantastic concept art! I have lost count the times I have seen his fantastic work implemented straight into the game by Bethesdas world artists, you see it was Adam's visiion, his vivid imagination and ideas, that helped get these massive projects rolling!

RIP Adam, may the skies be your canvas !

Btw 44 is just way too young to leave this world, especially for someone so very full of life, lets all help to make Cancer go away, they are already able to treat Mallanoma here in Australia with new Medication, and we all know that Mallanoma is a form of cancer, skin cancer to be precise..... apparently the scientists who created this new drug are working at other forms of cancer now too afterall cancer cells are cancer cells just in different locations! In their test cases here in AUS the cancers are actually shrinking and dissapearing after taking this new drug! Let's hope they manage to find a way of defeating all forms of cancer through this new technology and soon remarkable people like Adam won't be lost to this cruel and heart-breaking disease!

I too am an artist...

I'm blown away by the amazing talent that Adam has, and never knew he was behind creating the art for Skyrim until I read the news and saw his picture this morning.

What a talent, what a human being...it's very apparent he will be deeply missed by his many colleagues at Bethesda, friends and family.

RIP Adam...awesome work. I'm glad I'm having the privelege of experiencing it in the game of Skyrim.
