... svcked all my free time and wishing I were really in the game. Reality svcks.

Having just come off of Oblivion a short while ago, I finally purchased Skyrim and told my wife "Sorry, dear, you're about to lose me again for another 300+ hours."
For that, I have to say Thank You. This game is truly beautiful, both in game play and in visuals. With so much going on, I can easily forgive the very few "bugs" I've come across.
Since we all know there's another game in the making, I'd like to take this opportunity to offer some options to the team for possible inclusion in the next version. Hopefully, this doesn't sound dissastisfied with the game, not at all, but a few tweaks will make things ... easier.
+If the next version allows us partners again, I'd love for the ability to allow them to ride the horse with us. I know they don't "get lost", but it's always nice when they're around when dragons just drop from the sky without warning. They make for great targets. >:]
+Please adjust the stamina of the horse to be far greater than our own. It's really weird to only get a few seconds from the gallop before it slows to a crawl again.
+I loved the armory opition in the Windhelm house. Can you make it bigger next time? I love keeping special weapons I've earned as trophies and displaying them is really nice. Oh, maybe not a house, but an armory we could buy? Yeah!
+A menu option of "Soul Gems" would be tremendously helpful rather than grouped under Misc. If this is a burden, a renaming of the gems so they're grouped together, like the Spell Book: [type], would also help. I don't add them to my favorites because of all the possible types there are.

+I was a little surprised the carriage ride was another fast travel tactic which also takes my gold. Can the next version actually display the ride? That would be sweet! (just make sure it doesn't lead us to another beheading

)
+In the compass view, can you add a small dot to icons of places we've already cleared out. This would REALLY be helpful so I'm not constantly going into the map to check.
+Sepaking of the map: This is the only disappointment I have with Skyrim. The mountainous terrain has been difficult to navigate (I'm on a main road but to get to the top lies on the other side, and that map doesn't show me a path, and I can't count the number of times I've had to backtrack to find one) and without paths/roads clearly outlined, this map has been useless to me when I travel. I rarely fast travel, taking advantage of the wonderful attention to detail this game delivers, so a 2D map is, for me, priceless. Either that, or let us steal the map that's hanging in the wizard's quarters in Whiterun on a future patch?

You are sworn to carry our burdens, after all.

That's my list. Pretty short, huh. Yep, that's pretty much the only things I'd like to see improved with... hmm... where will the next game take us. Heck, if the next version of consoles are that powerful, we'll see all of Tamriel, won't we.

Thanks for reading, and again, a huge thank you to everyone who helped bring us (clearly) the game of the year for 2012.
