Thank you, Bethesda/Obsidian

Post » Wed Jun 15, 2011 4:17 am

So, I just watched a Youtube video compilation of "The History of Fallout", and, in my personal opinion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are SO much better than the original series.

I just have to say,

Bethesda, I know your games can be buggy and I know people complain a lot, but I don't think I have ever experienced the phantasmagorical storytelling and gameplay in any other game or game series that each one of your titles has; and especially not on such a large scale.

Obsidian, I played through KOTOR II like four times before I got my fill, and when I heard you would be working with Bethesda on New Vegas, I nearly wet myself.

Some might call me a fan boy, but if I am to be considered so, it's because you guys have earned it, and I really just wanted to thank everyone on staff who delivers these amazing video games to my home.

Please, keep up the good work.

I think that some of the people at Obsidian would be more disappointed that somebody claimed not to like their previous work without ever having played it.

I am not purple, nor do I sing "I love you."

Though sharing is caring and I do sing "Clean up"...

I'm not sure I saw the episode where Barney was part of a firing squad.

Though I guess it would've been a valuable life-lesson.

Edit: didn't realize you were new; dinosaurs are people who are fans of the original games FYI.

-and a whole bunch of them are probably going to come in here and start arguing very soon.

We conduct ourselves in a decent enough manner for the most part, well some of us do.

Well, in any case, if the older games had been in my time, I probably would have played them, but my PC's were always crap when I was seven, so I'm going to stick by my Bethesda fandom.

Indeed you do.

But you also love to press your opinions on people. A lot.

Just remember, OP: ignore those who will bash you for your post.

The haters just want to wave their weird elitism in your face.

Yeah, that's the quest I always select when I'm tired of quest markers and just want to explore. :P

And as far as the tank goes... I didn't know bears and tanks were a part of the same food chain.

Hmph... I shall have you know that I always conduct myself in the highest of possible expectations... provided the topic is about Fallout Originals vs Revived Fallout; it's not really a topic I care all that much about.

Well thank you kindly, sir. :)

I was pretty prepared, but so far I really like the community on here. Also, I didn't even know I would start an argument. I wasn't even trying to downtalk Black Isle. I liked Baldur's Gate. I was merely trying to compliment the guys doing good work I look forward to now.

Well, I just read your question as to how I could be a dino, and I couldn't. I think there was a discrepancy somewhere. :unsure2:

Also, have you seen the price of some of those toasters today? Ridiculous.

I'd rather get a George Foreman grill. It seals in the flavor without the fat.

No, I accidentally put it on another thread (about OWB baddies).

I removed it.

Guess that's what you get for having like 5 tabs open.
