Thank you FedEx

Not sure if I should even post this, but I will anyways...

I checked my FedEx order tracker this AM before work (bout 4am PST) it said that package was sitting at local processing place and couldn't go out cause order wasn't ready. I just figured that's cause the game officially comes out tomorrow (also my birthday), so I got my work boots laced up and grabbed my coffee and headed out the door. Fast forward 10 working hours and couple driving hours, I pull into my driveway and see a little box sitting on my front porch, not thinking anything of it, i park, get out of truck, bring in garbage can, grab mail from mail box, snag box of of front porch. I get inside the house and set all my stuff down and grab my knife and open the little FedEx box. I get the box open and to my GREAT JOY it's Fallout New Vegas...

It is installing to my 360's hard drive as I type this up. I will be playing in about 30 minutes, gotta eat first....

Thanks for letting me share..

Congrats. But isn't there a thread specifically made to avoid these threads?

You are lucky.... my PC copy has been sitting at the local FedEx distributor as "not ready for shipment" the last couple days and did not arrive today.

That's a cool surprise. Nice they delivered it early. I like seeing boxes with cool stuff inside on my porch, but will be visiting the store tomorrow after work. Have a fun Birthday.

Is it as awesome as Fallout 3?

If I had the next day off, I might have gone, but if I go tonight, I'd play till 5 AM and then forget to wake up for work. Will wait till after work. Enjoy!

Haha, I also have a copy sitting at a local Post Office, just waiting to be delivered... Hopefully, I'll drink myself into a stupor so that I can get up early to meet the delivery guy when I get up. No shower, no change of clothes, no phone calls---just straight FALLOUT tomorrow. :)

No Spoilers Though!

Don't listen to this guy! They made spoiler tags for a reason! I don't want an exclusive connection to fresh info telling me that hardcoe mode makes stimpaks heal slower. New info is good info!

Then step on over the Cheats and Spoilers section of the boards. We do not want to suspend anyone's posting privileges for a few days around release for posting spoilers in General would we?

Makes me think I should head over to Best Buy and offer my soul in return for getting my copy of Fallout New Vegas early

Of course I've already sold my soul a few times for video games but they don't need to know that ;)

By the way. When will best buy be selling the game?
