So basically when you were playing before, you saw that something was buggy and then saved after seeing the bug and then expected the programmers to be able to re-code your save and un-save something you did? Nobody's saying start over, just use a little sense that when you're playing a game and you see something go totally buggy on you it's not usually a good idea to then save that bug permanently.

Besides, it's just a bookcase. Some people still can't even play the game hardly at all and you're going to start calling names because you are upset over a bookcase?

hahaha wow someone has sand up there stink hole, im asking this because if ur useing the same save file then all the bugs that were there befor will still be there even after patch, try wateing 30 ingame days and see if that clears the bugs up otherwise stop [censored]ing and start a new file :violin:

I feel the same way sandy hole does. I am not happy about what happened with this game, and am super pissed that we got a broken game. Although I am wanting to make a new character because I made my character look like Jesus.... oops....

But still if I put a lot of more time into the game, then I wouldn't want to restart the game either...

i would only restart my 125+ hour game if we were guaranteed that patch 1.4 would fix the frame rate, lag, and freezes. its kind of hard knowing you have to do all that again just to be where you are now without problems.

I would recommend holding off in creating new characters until the 1.04 patch is released, solely because it's in this patch that they will be correcting broken quests and the lag issue (so they say).

I understand the idea of starting over with a new character, but where does it end? Do I start over every time a patch gets released to try and fix the big issues, plus the bugs caused by the previous patch.
That's ridiculous, I would be starting a new game every few weeks or "months" at Bethesda's pace. I'm at Level 52 and 221.22.55 hrs of play and cant continue because the game does not give me dialog options for just about anything quest related. Time to shelve the game until they fix it.. Plenty of other good games out there that work!

Thanks for a fun Christmas Playing your broken game guys! Hope you guys catch a nasty case of rock joint..

This game was not ready for release..

yes it svcks to start a new char evey few months, hopefully after 1.4 we wont have to, but if ur games unplay able as u say why not start a new game at least ull be able to play, also do u mean 221 hours of play time on your one save file?

Yes 221 hours across many save files since the release on 11-11-11.
I have no issue with starting over but I want to know quest breaking bugs are fixed, and I know that 1.4 is suppose to address these issues. It's frustrating because we have all been through this before with Bethesda, and its never a simple little fix. But I digress and will be off playing something else until they get things working..

Cheers
