I was walking along in the Reach when i saw 3 Orc's simply named Orc Hunter's. i had never seen them before so i tried to say hi. come to find out... they hunt humans. it didn't help that after i ran up the hill i was attacked by the Forsworn. so after spamming firebolts and running around like this i discovered a dead body near the Orc's. a poor farmer that was on his way to join the Empire that i encountered earlier. has anyone else seen these Orc Hunter's?

I have, but they didn't hunt me. They sold me stuff.

ive often seen them fighting a group of forsworn. usually the victorious group is non-hostile, you must have hit one by accident?

Maybe you caused some trouble in one of the Orc Strongholds and they sent out hunters to kill you. The Thalmor have sent out assasins to kill me on several occasions.

Maybe it's cause i killed another group of Forsworn a little before i found the hunters?
This character has never been to an Orc Stronghold.

Then you probably killed someone they were after, then they turned on you.

I've run into Orc hunters that turned hostile once I talked to them. I was sent to clear out bandits but found Orc hunters instead. I say 'hi' and they hit me with a mace. Seems fair.

they are orcs. What do you think. Not all orcs are like that guy in the nightgate inn.

That must be their way of saying hello.

I encountered the orc hunters outside of Riften, opposite the stable house. I wasn't sure who they were at first and so approached. "That's far enough," one of them said, as well as the other usual warnings. I don't remember exactly what happened after that, but I vaguely recall getting a bounty for killing one of them.

i came across them a few times, but one time in particular stuck out as they had killed a travelling merchant and her horse.
after the usual warnings they attacked me.....4 seconds later after they were all dead, i checked the merchant she still had her wares. so no idea why they killed her.
maybe she insulted malcath?
