I'm having a big problem with my char not showing up in the public or co-op matches. Every time i jump into one of those matches (if i'm lucky enough to find one with no lag) my character i select isn't in the game,instead i'm some other random char that's not even part of my chrars i customized in my char menu. Even in cut scenes i'll be some random guy. My customized voices do the same thing. If anyone else is having the same problems some feedback would be great. Whats the point of having customization if i can't use the guy i made. I can't believe they released a game(early at that) they clearly new wasn't finished. This seems to be the trend these days.

this thing keeps happenig to me as well and with lots of other people and i havent seen anything about how splash damage is or if their even going to fix it

I havn't seen any response to it niether. I hope they fix it cuz it defeats the purpose of customization. I'm getting tired of having to trade in games that didn't live up to what the devs promise. We shouldn't have to wait a few months for all the problems to be fixed in a game that most of us pre-ordered a while in advance. $63 is alot of money to keep spending on half a** games. I pre-ordered killzone3,homefront,black ops and all those games had major problems upon launch and they didn't live up to what the devs promised us regardless of how many sales they made. It's sad cuz i won't pre-order again, i'll wait till the game drops and i'll lurk the forums to see what the real critics think (the consumer) and then i'll decide whether to buy it or not. If this next patch doesn't fix this issue,the game will be going back regardless of free dlc or not. Who the hell want's to play with some one elses random char!

i'm having this problem as well. its really anoying. had this happening to me 2 times, and the random char was the same.

don't play the game anymore. waiting for so many things to get fixed 5 days after release. :rock:

freezes all over, lag, graphic and sound issues...this game doesn't enter my xbox until it's patched and fixed and somehow is in a state games are normally in.

hope this will get fixed asap....too.

It happens to me as well, but later on in the match my character changes to the one I have customized. I think you just start as a random one so you can get in the game faster, and as the game goes on it loads your own character.
