The availability of Skyrim Collector's Edition?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:42 am

I just bought my SkyrimCE (xbox360) a few days ago while it was still available and was wondering how many were made?

Does the number of copies of the standard version sold versus the number of CE's made affect the overall long term value?

I bought this as an investment for the sake of having something valuable in the future. I've been getting the runaround at other forums where most people are telling me it will still be worth what I paid for it years from now.

Buy a Collector's Edition if you really support the series, never use it for an Investment.

Real fans never sell away their Collector's Edition for monetary reasons.

Yes, if you keep it sealed the value will be bigger in the future.

That is the answer I'm looking for. I don't intend on opening it up and handling the art book despite how tempting such a thing would be.
