The battle for the Dragonborns Soul

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:40 pm

So after the dragonborn dies Who will rightfully take take his soul once he dies?

Nocturnal(Theives guild questline) Hircine (Werewolf) Azura (Black star), Meridia (Dawnbreaker), Mephala (Ebony Blade) Boethiah (Ebony Mail) Molag Bal (Mace of Molag Bal) Clavicus Vile (Masque of Clavicus Vile) Mehrunes Dagon (Mehrunes' Razor) Hermaeus Mora (Oghma Infinium) Namira (Ring of Namira) Sanguine (Sanguine Rose) Vaermina (Skull of Corruption) Peryite (Spellbreaker) Malacath (Volendrung) Sithis (Darkbrotherhood listener) and not but least Sheogorath (Wabbajack)

An addition Mara (Agent of Mara) Dibella (Agent of Dibella) and Akatosh.

Who will win the right to take Dragonborn's soul?

None of the above. For the same reason the Tribunal couldn't stop Nerevar from being reborn.

Obviously Akatosh, as he is a dragon and all Dragonborn's are born with the blood of the dragon.

Where does it say that your soul goes anywhere but Sovngard, with exception to becoming a Nighingale or Werewolf? No other Daedra demanded my soul after death except Nocturnal, in exchange for being allowed to use your Nightengale power as you want to. Hircine only gets it if you become, and die, a werewolf. No where does it say that just because I've done a completed a task for Peryite, and recieved the Spellbreaker, doesnt mean he gets my soul.

I think, that since dragons are not going to go away, that they will group up and attack all at once, overpowering me, and finally consuming my soul (since it is the 'soul of a dragon') like I have been doing to them. Then, any other dragons will likely follow, or attack, that dragon. Heh, the dragon that finally brings me down will become the next Alduin.

I believe Akatosh will just kick everybody's butts then let the Dragonborn pick where he wish to be.

Also Sithis. Sithis maybe able to get your soul. Like Lucien Lachance had said... "In time, you will serve our dread father... Like I do now."

I'm marginally interested in the lore, and I do love to RP - but about this, I must (and did) quote Staind. It's seriously of no moment at all.

We can start by eliminating the weakest one, that would be Peryite.

People who likes the Lore and people who likes to RolePlay.

Isn't both equally important? You need Lore to establish a well defined connection to make Roleplay more interesting that includes adding in balance.

They all start fighting over the dragonborn's soul when something unthinkable happens, The Aedra and Deadra stop, listen, and take the advice of Sheogorath when he suggests baking the soul into a sweetroll big enough for everyone to take bite out of.

Some fool will probably capture the dragonborns soul in a soul gem, and it'll be used to recharge a weapon.
