The Big Easy come on now help me out :)

Im making this topic to get some help, Please do not say or tell me to get a new (rig)
im poor lol.

My issues
1.If i dont use ENBSeries while loading on the symbol of the elderscrolls skyrim logo it can take anywhere from 30 seconds or 30 minutes to load to the start/ load screen.
2. Without ENBSeries antilag, while running through the terrain trees and textures mountains, fields and basicly everything quests and more do not load unless i sit there for about 5 minutes then it all loads up, with enbseries it loads as i run.
3. ENB slows my fps down atleast down by -10 fps when it should increase single core cpu's speed / performance.
4. running with my ini's no shadows gives me a solid 9 to 10fps full time says fraps, i bought the retail fraps.
5.skyboost will work like the ENBSeries and make everything load as i run but the only thing it will not do is load to the start / load menu fast like the ENB does.
6. Ive spent days on end trying every mod / performance boost, gamebooster, overclocking, everything!
nothing works that great. 10 fps is the highest it will go.
7. when i overclock my gpu it makes no difference because the game is fine with my gpu, Skyrim uses 100% of my cpu. Using the task manager to view what is going on.
8. ugh and help?

My (rig)
Intel P4 530 prescott 3.0ghz Socket 478 84w Single Core
NVIDIA 8400GS 512 overclocked core > 700 shaders 4.0 (its enough) I use the driver for skyrim through NVIDIA for performance, from basic gpu to overclocked makes (0) difference
4 gig of ram 8 gig of virtual ram.
dx9/ dx10
200gig HD
playing on low with textures on med at 10fps if im lucky.

So i have come to see that skyrim is using all of my cpu and not sure what i can do to free it up to use less? my bios is locked :( enb says its for single core (cough) yeah right...............
thanks in advance

p.s. again it uses about 400 to 800 of my memory on the task bar
and 100% of my cpu lol
I made 10 partitions to create them for ramdrives to use for virtual ram.
the game is not using my installed ram or my vram

I take it overclocking isn't an option, as you said the bios is locked? If it's a password, you can probably reset it by removing the CMOS battery for a minute and putting it back in.

Baldur's Gate is an amazing rpg series. You can now play through all of them using the much nicer BG2 engine using a mod called EasyTUTU
Or if you are looking for some hack and slash, Rune was a kickass viking game built on the unreal engine.

Edit: You can get BG and older game in general from this site http://www.gog.com/en/frontpage/

yeah my bios on the 2 sticks of ram i have are grey'd out, Intel kinda svcks ive maxed this pc as much as i can
the thing that gets me i have seen others with 128 mb video cards and lower pc's running at 20 to 30 fps and my ram with my gfx card are higher than those of 5 people i know and mine runs cruddy lol thing is i also have fallout NV and it plays perfect with no speed mods or anything. This game is just not using enough of my memory or my VRam, wonder if there is a way to force the game to read memory

when i d/c from steam that helps somewhat but it doesnt matter that the overlay for skyrim steam is on because it still doesnt use my ram, kinda odd

also, I got like 160 hours on skyrim and love it just craving it to use my ram lmao hey thanks for the links too :)

An old Pentium 4 cpu, christ no wonder its running into difficulties. I think the min specs are a dual core and by dual core I'm pretty sure they mean core 2 duo type and up, of which those were already way ahead speed wise of the older P4 chips.

yeah i know that, my friend has an older single core cpu on a old old pc with 2 gig of ram on a 128 mb video card
and i watched him play with 20, 25 to 30 fps and i was like im getting the game bud my pc whoops urs guess its picky on certain systems.
but btw i can play falloutNV on all high with 30 to 60 fps no problem i only have to use my task manager and set it to high priority. So i thought this game would play to.

my buds is a intel celeron D 330 old like smoke and plays better than mine i am jelly

edit: using a usb mouse and usb control pad with xpadder wonder if that causes issues?
also is there anyway to make the game use more than 1 gig of ram?
i heard that there was a 4gig patch that can use vram and ram wonder if its true

Bethesda added their own version of the 4gb fix in a patch so you already have that.

There's not much else I can recommend apart from doing a clean boot every time and closing any unessential services and programs. http://www.tweakguides.com/TGTC.html is a great guide on how to get the most out of your windows installation. http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ can check your ram to make sure it is working properly. Since you are stressing your system so much, I would strongly recommend downloading http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/. You can set warning alarms for when your cpu and gpu get close to overheating and avoid permanent damage.

Your processor is way way under the minimum requirements fro this game but you already know that. Good luck, I guess.

my FRAPS says this was 2 FPS i think my fraps doesnt register correctly, feels very playable and fraps does lower my fps but this is faster ofc without fraps. what do you guys think?
