It wouldn't be fair to delay to it for everyone just because Sony can't get its act together. But yeah, PS3 users will have to wait until its up. PC and X-box users get it on the 17th.

Remember. it's not Sony's fault. Blame the damn hackers who have nothing else better to do in their "lives."

PS3 will get it. Just a little later than the others. Better that than relaunching the network too soon and getting hacked again.

Why would you say that, and a good word of advice: This is not the forum to start a console war.

Yeah SONY messing with their users definitely didn't provoke this, and their security was most certainly good enough to keep their players safe and happy.

EDIT: That was sarcasm.

I'm not gonna go into detail about who hacked, since my last thread of it got closed, but Sony as attacked by a group of protesting clowns called Anyminous. they hacked Sony because Sony sued a ps3 hacker for hacking their product and disobeying their Terms of Service.

It's partly sony' fault for not having their crap together on security and associated updates on their servers. It was inevitable considering how splayed open and outdated their servers were.

The gaming, music, and other features are now up and running again on the PSN. The PSN Store however isn't up yet, and will supposedly be up soon. How soon no one knows, it probably won't be up in time for Honest Hearts release. If it's not up this week I say it will be up next week in time for the Tuesday store update.

I bet the store will be up in time, the restoration is phased, so 2 days from restoring online play is enough time for the store to get back up.

Actually it is sony's fault. They shouldn't have antagonized the hackers. If they had just released their security updates and done whatever they needed to and not made a big deal about it, constantly calling it "hack proof" and what not, I don't think this would have happened. Not that it doesn't svck or that its not wrong of them to do or anything, it is, I'm just saying Sony shouldn't have been so antagonistic about it. I think the only reason people haven't had their credit/debit card info stolen (or at least not the majority, I think we would have heard about it if they had) an used is cuz this was an attack on sony, not ps3 users.

Naw they probably just jack a$$es. I think most console gamers would understand that this was excuse-less offense perpetrated by ego maniacs that have baseless reasons for doing what they did. I have a PSP so its quite possible they could have my info as well....I may have some anger issues but I wouldn't be opposed to Medieval torture if I got my hands on them.
