The DLC won't install on my game. : Othor Games

After I downloaded it, it keeps stopping at 14% everytime I try and install it. Is it like this for most people? And I have green ping.

My guess is within the next few hours.

To the OP:

Maybe try uninstalling the patches, reinstalling them, and then try the DLC? I play on the 360, so I really wouldn't know.

yeah man , i'm getting the same error (80029563) and everything , starts installing goes to 14% then stops dead and gives me the error msg.

let me know if you guys find a solution, i was thinking of mauybe deleteng the game data or save data might work?! i hope thats not the solution, i dont feel like releveling all my charcters up again....fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!

i've tried dling it 4 seperate times now, wtf?!

Friend said he just kept downloading and installing then deleting after it corrupted at 14% till it finally installed correctly. i'm still trying myself. until i turn blue if need be good luck all

i was just doing some reading up on the error most people suggested reseting your modem has the error usually has something to do with the isp speed.......im trying that right now, let me know if it works for you guys .

Same boat... same error code. Gonna try and dl again. I was excited for like 5mins there. Wow, that 14% fail is a heart breaker.

nah theres plenty of people already playing it , i dl'd another demo and add-on both install easily with no hiccups , so once again it seems like bad implementation ........ add scratch on the "brink curse" list.

if anyone from GSTAFF could address this problem and what the best course of action is that would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can tell the package is corrupt, in the sense that the entire package is not coming through. It reads 495mb total... 429 is what it is actually completing at. Just an observation.

Keep in mind that all the new PSN content just went up, so it's probably the fact there's a lot of traffic for downloads.

You should be able to play tonight though, which is earlier than planned.

Very true... the servers are banged right about now. Definitely should be kept in mind. The content is free as well which was very nice to see.

I was all hyped up with a day release so im going to give it a break must have tried 14 times now. WAit till later. Give it one last time bcause i reset my setting and restarted my playstation. po'd i cant get it right away but it should just take long not just stop at 14% and say that an error occured.

This only really makes sense from a download perspective. The content downloads to 100% just fine but when installing throws an error 80029563 at 14%. Can anyone verify that this DLC is actually working and can successfully be installed? I have tried the download and install twice and it keeps crashing at 14% both times. Weak.

I'm now wholly convinced that the Brink franchise is just plain cursed. Buggy initial release, problems for months without a patch fix, and now following the patch fix DLC that causes errors and won't even install. Unbe-frakkin-lievable...

What you didn't know is that SD and Bethesda have been trolling us this entire time and their never was any DLC...

...or a working game.

I just hit up Sony's troubleshooting page for info on the error...and their info isn't even in the least bit helpful.

We have lift off... restarted the ps3 and redownloaded. Took on the first shot. My guess is I got lucky, but may be worth a shot if your still having troubles.
