The Dragonborns soul.

Once the Dragonborn eventually dies, does his soul go to Akatosh? Or does it go to wherever he/she worships?

Good question. I have no idea. What if your dragonborn worships more than one too? Will Nocturnal and Sithis have to duke it out to decide who gets your soul if you joined both the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood?

Thats what I've been thinking about. So if your a werewolf, a thief and an assassin. You have pledged your soul to 3 Gods, who gets your soul? Does being Dragonborn exempt you from going to those after lives?

When this was brought up before that was my thought. Akatosh probably has dibs.

I highly doubt Akatosh allows aspects of himself to fall into the hands of daedric princes.
Unless it's part of some master plan they ain't supposed to know about. In which case nevermind daedric princes. You go ahead and take it.

The Daedas could take a portion of his soul, Homeevr he is the son of Akatosh. He wouldn't let anyone share a bit of his souls. Even Sithis. Anyway is Sithis even real?

Yes, Sithis is as real as any of the Divines or Daedric Princes.

And the lore is that the only reason you absorb a dragon's soul is because of your "dragon blood" since dragons absorb each other's souls.

My soul won't go to a god at all -- I plan to be reincarnated as a Greybeard.

I think when the Dragonborn dies it goes to the same place all your childhood pet hamsters did.
IE, your mum is going to quietly burry it in the back garden and replace it with new one and hope you dont notice that hammy grew a [censored] overnight.

Sorry, I'm getting distracted. I mean, The Dragonborn possibly, will have eaten so many souls by the time they die they'll simply go on living in another realm. Or end up in hell surrounded by alot of really cross dragons and bunnies.

Is dragon blood the same as a dragon's soul?

I mean, I might say to some people "you've got soul". It doesn;t mean that person is unusual in that they have a soul. I might say "he's got a lot of soul" doesn't mean his soul is bigger or he has more than one. The soul of a real fighter...that person might have beat cancer, not a heavyweight champ. Down to my very soul...That music didn't actually penetrate my skin and lodge itself in my immortal soul like some type of rthymic shrapnel

But literally, the soul of a dragon? Like RuPaul, being a woman trapped in a man's body? No, I don't think so.

Upstate, to a big farm where they can play all day? Cool.

Well you do have the soul of a dragon, so probably Akatosh....though I would hope my Nord goes to Sovngarde.

It's unclear how much of a difference that actually makes. It's further muddled by the fact the Dragonborn is absorbing dragon souls left and right, which given past soul-related in stuff in games probably isn't without consequence. And in any case, if dragon blood allows him to absorb dragon souls, it might very well make him vulnerably to a dragon trying to absorb his (or her) human/mer soul.

Far from clear in other words, but I think it is a worthy possibility to consider.
