the dream is over

I tried, i really tries bethesda, but i just couldn't do it any longer. i really liked morrowind, and i adored oblivion, and fallout 3 was just amazing, but after playing skyrim not once, nor twice, but three times i just couldn't find anything that gave me that same feeling as the other games. I really do not know what it is, i played it and unlocked everything, then tried to play it differently by changing my play style, but i just couldn't do it any longer, it may be that skyrim is too predictable for me, maybe it lacks depth or a mysterious feeling to it, but i just wasn't feeling it any longer, why is it that so many people are getting this feeling after playing skyrim?
here is what i did on my last playthrough:
I started off by making a thief type character.
After i escaped helgen i enter the first cave and looted only what fitted my character as a thief, no heavy armor, i used a bow, and daggers.
Then i explored a little, and headed off to riverwood, where i stole a couple of goods and killed 3 npc's the other one was unkillable.
Afterwards i wanted to head to riften to join the thief's guild, and i was going walking.
In the way there i entered a cave and killed a couple of bandits, then kept on my route to riften.
I was attacked by wolfs but luckily there was stormcloak soldiers to help me out, i stole one of their horses and on my way again.
I found myself attacked by more wolfs but i escaped successfully.
Then i found a fort but decided that i would just skip it, and arrived at a giant camp.
By this time my horse was gone and i was just having fun at some graphical glitches that happened at that time.
Then i was trying to figure out what i was doing wrong that i wasn't enjoying myself, and decided to piss off the giants and mammoths.
I was a wanted men and every soldier wanted my head, so i stirred the giant to the nearest village, but unfortunately they all attacked me and i died.
I turned off the xbox and that was that.
What is it that you guys do, that makes this game so special for you?

It sounds like you've played the game a fair amount, maybe you just need to give it a break?

If it never 'felt special' or whatever why the )(*& did you do an entire playthrough? Those are the actions of someone who is mentally ill lol, if you don't like it, don't )(*&ing play it!

For myself, i've had a grand time, i didn't think all that highly of Oblivion, I liked Morrowind alot but it was so clunky and ludicrous in many ways. Skyrim has it's pitfalls, but i've found it very immersive. just started playing with no HUD and that has added alot so far.

I play a lot diffrently

roleplaying makes it amazing. for example lets say you got to riverwood to rest a while

you go to the inn buy some mead drink and wait 3 hours (rest function) to simulate like it was actually happening and it took the time to happen.

It makes the game a lot more immersive

i also suggest D.I.D or playing it on master

i played it in every possible way that i could, i would never go below expert as i find this game too easy, and yes i tried to simulate as if it was real, i did all that stuff, but i tried to summarize it in my little story that i told. i tried to roleplay as much as i could, but it just wasn't happening, everything was too predictable.
