The elder scrolls needs more gore!

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 6:13 pm

the elderscrolls series has been lacking in gore so yeah make a DLC or somthing where you have cause serious dismemberment and decapitations or somthing that will cause visual damage instead of the perk where you can cut off their head every now and then, i would rather it have atleast gore from Fallout 3 and NV cos that was the [censored] i meen come on you could turn people into a pile of blood and bodyparts you need to do something like that cos since when have i been able to hit a freakin wood elf with a battle axe as a beefy ass orc and not cause some epic visual damage bethesda come on man listen to me man you want to do that [censored] aswell cos u did it with Fallout 3

There is a perk for 1 handed weapons where you have a chance to decapitate.

I disagree.

I always thought the gore part of FO3 and FO:NV were badly made and unnecessary and frankly only there to please the vast amount of adolescence that goes "OMFGLULEPIC!!1!" over that sort of things.

I'm glad they didn't do this for Skyrim.

Hell no.

The game is fine as it is, having over-the-top gore is just pointless.

It worked well in Fallout but it wouldn't work in TES.

I would agree with somthing like if you hit there arm with your weapon then that arm would be disabled, or come off would be great. but it could be a problem due to if they hit you

The game's fine. It's neither a pretty pony game nor Amnesia the Dark Descent. Adding too much gore will distort the game a lot, if you ask me.

Skyrim's gore is ok. But Fallout's gore was fitting realistic and enjoyable. If you think that only kids enjoyed it, you are mistaken.

I actuaslly agree to some extent. I would like a little more blood and gore when fighting..not over the top stupid, but a little more.

Also there isn't really any scary moments in skyrim like i was hoping for. More spooky stuff is needed aswell.

The hole game could do with being just a little Darker !

Realistic is hardly what I would call it but hey, it's a game.

And I never said that ONLY kids enjoyed it. I said it was put in to please and/or attract that specific fanbase.

The "gore" is fine. Remember that lame Soldier of Fortune FPS? If you bashed skulls, brains popped out; I think guts poured out from tummies, too. It wasn't visceral or gory, it was laughable. Because it's computer animation. So, no, it's fine. But you're likely trolling anyway =)
