The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Companion NPC Horses?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 8:57 am

Hey All,
In the 80+ hrs that i've been playing Skyrim, i've knoticed that while the PC can buy and is able to ride a horse, the companion(which ever one the PC has at the time) doesn't have one and is always slow to catch up, what i am wondering is, if Bethesda Softworks or someone that likes to tinker could come up with a way for the PC to buy a horse for the
companion, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I hope they're able to include this in a patch/DLC. Many companion mods in Oblivion allow the follower to mount and ride their own horse - granted, they just summon the horse out of thin air, but they can still ride horses :)

Great idea, maybe it is also possible they could ride along as passengers? The horses in Skyrim seem like big sturdy animals so two warriors in plate might not break their backs...
And yes I'm even willing to buy the horse for my companions or the DLC itself if neccesary.

Kharjo would like a horse. Khajiit's paws would be saved the coldness of these sands.

I would probably get a companion if this was added for them. I hate how they fall behind.
